Clipsal down lights run at just 9W, 1/5th of the power an old style halogen down light runs at. They produce 700 lumens of light and have a beam angle of 90 degrees. Unlike the old halogen down light which gets up to 300 degrees these down lights are safe to be covered and abutted to insulation and building materials. Clipsal down lights can be dimmed using Clipsal own led dimmer to produce the right amount of light for your situation.
